Jyothi Yarraji, Tejas Shirse win third consecutive gold
Jyothi Yarraji and Tejas Shirse continued their dominance in Indian athletics by securing their third consecutive gold medals in the women’s 100m hurdles and men’s 110m hurdles, respectively, at the national games 2025, on Sunday. Both athletes also set new games records in their events, reaffirming their status as the country’s top hurdlers. Andhra Pradesh’s Jyothi Yarraji, the reigning Asian champion and Hangzhou Asian Games silver medallist, clocked 13.10 seconds in the 100m hurdles final, improving her own previous national games record of 13.22 seconds set in 2023.
