A 23-year-old MBBS student from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore was arrested for allegedly transferring ₹8 lakh in cyber fraud money to a gang of Chinese youths by converting it into cryptocurrency, PTI reported citing police on Wednesday. Police said during Vishnoi’s interrogation that he provided bank accounts to a gang on a commission basis for cyber fraud. Two women were flung several feet high in the air and got killed after the scooter they were riding on was hit by a speeding BMW car coming in the wrong direction in Indore. The incident happened late last night at around 11.50 pm and was captured on CCTV. In the video, the women can be seen riding on a white scooter when a speeding BMW car coming from the opposite direction at what seems to be a speed well in excess of 100 kmph slams into them without ever slowing down, flinging the two women and their scooter several feet high into the air. The victim and the accused were living together in a rented house in the city for the last few days after becoming friends on Instagram, a police official said. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhinay Vishwakarma told reporters that the woman was killed in the couple’s rented house in the Raoji Bazaar area on December 7 and her body was recovered by cops two days later on December 9. The accused, Praveen Singh Dhakad (24), originally a resident of Guna district, got furious when the victim refused to have physical relations with him and stabbed her in the neck with a pair of scissors, he said.
