The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Faruque Ahmed has recently hinted at the inclusion of Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan in Bangladesh’s squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. The BCB’s selector Gazi Ashraf Hossain also talked about how he had no idea about the futures of Tamim and Shakib. It is worth noting that Shakib Al Hasan had some political issues that barred him from entering the country. Meanwhile, he was banned from bowling across due to different bowling actions. “If any player does not retire then he is available for selection (for the Champions Trophy). Shakib issue is a different issue and there is nothing new,” BCB president Faruque Ahmed said.
