Vijaya Arun, trustee, is at right. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement The Kasturi Ranga Iyengar Charitable Trust, Chennai, supported by Kasturi & Sons Ltd (publishers of The Hindu and The Hindu Tamil Thisai) on Saturday donated e-carts to the Oppiliappan temple and the Kumbakonam Government Hospital to help improve sanitation and hygiene. The carts were provided to clear and dispose garbage and help maintain clean and safe environment at the temple and the hospital. While two e-carts were presented to Sri Venkatachalapathy Swamy temple, popularly known as Oppiliappan temple, at Thirunageswaram near Kumbakonam, three e-carts were handed over to the authorities of the Government District Headquarters hospital at Kumbakonam by trust chairperson Dr. Nalini Krishnan and trustees …
