JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 city intimation slip on Friday, which is available at the official website of JEE, jeemain.nta.nic.in. These exams will be conducted in two sessions for Paper I. The first session will start at 9:00 am and conclude at 12:00 noon while the second session will begin at 3:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm. JEE main calendar 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the notification on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2025) Session 1 and 2 dates, including registration, admit card release and examination dates. In the coming days, the Testing Agency will notify aspiring candidates about the schedule, which can be accessed through NTA’s official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. In the recent notice, NTA notified that the optional question format in Section B will be discontinued. The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday announced a significant change in the national-level entrance exam for engineering courses. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) pattern will undergo some new changes in the upcoming year. NTA’s latest press release, dated October 17, said the optional question format in Section B will be discontinued. This option was introduced as a relief measure during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.  Previously, the temporary modification allowed candidates to attempt any five questions out of a total of 10 in this particular section. The flexible format option was available until the last JEE exam. However, the next JEE exam will revert to the pre-pandemic exam pattern. The release states, “The examination structure would return to its original format, where Section B will contain only 5 (five) questions per subject, and candidates will be required to attempt all 5 (five) questions, without any options for selection in JEE (Main) 2025 for Paper 1 (B.E./B. Indian Institute of Technology’s Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) Main session 2 dates and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 examination dates were clashing which have been rescheduled by National Testing Agency (NTA). CBSE released the exam schedule for classes 10 and 12 board exam on December 12, 2023, which was revised later. NTA released IIT-JEE dates in September last year. While reviewing both circulars, it was found that the dates of examinations were overlapping.
