Ruling NC decides to hold protest in Delhi over Statehood, constitutional guarantees

It is time for our leadership to go to Delhi and talk to the people there. Earlier in the day, Mr. Abdullah backed the Centre’s decision to grant the telecom powers to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.  The meeting between Mr. Shah and Mr. Abdullah assumed significance because of a long list of pending files submitted by the Union Territory (UT) government for final approval from the Centre.
