Kalki Koechlin grew up in the lap of nature in Auroville and has largely lived in places where she was always surrounded by nature. So when Kalki was pregnant, she decided to opt for a water birth for her baby, which she felt was more natural for the child. In a recent interview, Kalki opened up about her experience and also shared why this wasn’t seen as the norm. She also shared that some people can find it a “weird” cult-like or “chudail practice”, which puts them off from choosing this.
