Rajkumar Santoshi Has Been Jailed For 2 Years After His Cheques Paid To A Financer Bounced 10 Times! A ship magnate from Jamnagar, Gujarat, claimed that he invested 1 crore in one of the films by the filmmaker. Santoshi paid him ten cheques of 10 lakh each as payment. However, the man Ashok Lal, in his complaint, said that all the cheques bounced. He tried connecting to the filmmaker, but all his efforts were in vain. He then filed a lawsuit under the Negotiable Instruments Act in 2017 as Rajkumar Santoshi was unavailable for any help.
