Karnataka home minister warns of legal action on LPG hoarding and black marketing| India News

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Saturday said the police have been instructed to take legal action against those involved in hoarding and black marketing of LPG cylinders. Quoting officials, G Parameshwara said there are no issues with supply of domestic gas cylinders as of now. The Karnataka government has suspended Ijoor police station sub-inspector Syed Tanveer Hussain after protests by lawyers at Ramanagar, Home Minister G Parameshwara told the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. He added that the suspension order was issued against the officer who had booked 40 lawyers in connection with a case. A group of lawyers had staged protests against the PSI on Monday and Tuesday, demanding action against him.
