Diljit Dosanjh reacts as film releases after four years, ‘Khalra Sahib’s voice was silenced again’
Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh‘s long-delayed film Satluj, previously titled Punjab ’95, has finally premiered on Zee5 after a four-year wait. The Honey Trehan directorial, based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, released in its uncut form on Friday. Reflecting on the film’s difficult journey, Diljit admitted he often wondered if audiences would ever get to see it and said Khalra’s voice had been “suppressed” once again.
