Two days after a software developer was assaulted and his bike was damaged in Gurgaon, four men were arrested on Tuesday, said police. The video of the assault was widely shared on social media, prompting calls for the arrest of the accused. The clip showed the men damaging the bike of the accused with sticks and thrashing him despite his appeals to let him go. Hardik Sharma (32), who works as a software developer with a popular food ordering and delivery firm, was allegedly assaulted on Sunday morning by four men who were travelling in an SUV. The incident happened near Dwarka Expressway when he was out with a bikers’ group headed to Manesar. The SUV, Sharma alleged, drove recklessly past him and his fellow bikers. A police team led by Inspector Shahid Ahmad, Station House Officer of Sector-37, arrested the four accused near the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, said officers.
