Visuals show massive blazes and smoke erupting from the site. The incident triggered panic among locals and workers as the gas continued to gush out for nearly two hours at Irsumanda village in Malikipuram mandal. Pawan Kalyan will inspect the coconut orchards that are dying along the stretch of Sankaragupatam drain in Razole assembly constituency in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on November 26. Thousands of coconut trees have died, while the trees that are surviving have stunted growth across the 12 villages along the Sankarguptam. The damage is attributed to high salinity levels in the water of the drain.  Razole MLA Deva Prasada Rao said that Mr. Pawan Kalyan will tour all the affected villages before interacting with nearly 200 coconut farmers to understand the environmental challenges on November 26. Over 4,300 litres of seized liquor destroyed in Konaseema district

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District police on Saturday destroyed 3,607 litres of liquor seized from various traders and 775 litres of ID liquor during a special drive under Mummudivaram police station limits, according to SP B. Krishna Rao. The liquor was seized in 322 cases during the raids in the Amalapuram Division. Amalapuram DSP T.S.R.K. Prasad and the Excise and Prohibition Department officials were present. 14 injured in explosion in illegal firecracker factory operating in residential building – India TV

Image Source : X Representational image At least fourteen people were injured after an explosion in a residential building in Ravulacheruvu, Amalapuram town, Andhra Pradesh on Monday. According to police, the blast occurred in a residential building in Ambedkar Konaseema district on Monday, where firecrackers were being manufactured illegally.  The intensity of the blast was so high that the two-story building was severely damaged.  “An explosion occurred in a residential building in Ravulacheruvu, Amalapuram town while firecrackers were being manufactured inside illegally. 14 people sustained injuries and were rushed to the Amalapuram Area Hospital. The two-storey building suffered severe damages,” said Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema District SP,  B. Krishna Rao. Locals took injured people to the Amalapuram Area Hospital. The condition of one injured is said to be critical.  Police personnel from the Amalapuram Town Police station rushed to the site and initiated a probe into the explosion.
