The internal turmoil within the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) continued to be played out in the open on Sunday with actor Neena Kurup, an executive committee member of the forum, confirming that she had filed a complaint against fellow actor Tiny Tom. The details of the complaint against Mr. Tom surfaced a day after actor Ansiba Hassan accused him of character assassination and making communal remarks. According to Ms. Kurup, she had filed a complaint against Mr. Tom to the AMMA leadership on May 12. She has accused him of “repeated verbal abuse and attempted physical assault.” “I have filed a complaint based on an incident that took place on February 13, a day before a family meet organised by the AMMA. I strongly believe the association will take up the complaint and justice will be served. At least the matter will be looked into,” she said. Mr. Tom has not responded to the allegations yet. Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam exhausted its theatrical run at the box office, with nearly Rs. 3 crore coming in the fourth week. The movie registered a sharp decline of 60 per cent from the last week. The movie has collected around Rs. 27.50 crore so far in its four weeks of run. From here, it can add around Rs. 20 to 25 lakh more to the tally and close its box office journey at Rs. 28 crore gross at the Kerala box office.  The Saiju Kurup starrer emerged as a Super Hit venture at the box office, thanks to its controlled budget and superb run. Mounted on a low budget, the movie fetched over Rs. 21.70 crore in its 10 days of theatrical run at the worldwide box office.
