The U.S. on the other hand, snubbed Volodymyr Zelensky’s request to arm Ukraine with M1 Abrams tanks and long-range ATACMS. The Pentagon claimed that Ukraine military was not trained to handle such weapons. In Kherson, where the battle has intensified, a Russia-installed official was killed in a car bomb attack.
