During a recent conversation on Aap Ki Adalat, the 120 Bahadur actor shared a story that could have ended his career before it ever started – involving the legendary Sridevi. A 17-year-old Farhan Akhtar had just begun his journey in films, working as an assistant to cinematographer Manmohan Singh on Yash Chopra’s romantic musical Lamhe, starring Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. But one incident on set nearly made him believe his budding career was over — Sridevi accidentally fell during the shoot. Nearly 35 years later, Farhan revisited the moment during his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat with India TV. When asked about the incident, Farhan exclaimed, “Main kaun hota hoon Sridevi ko girane wala! (Who am I to make her fall?)” He then explained what actually happened: “Unfortunately, such an accident did occur. I was Man Ji’s seventh or eighth assistant on Lamhe.
