Nashik Police files first 1,500-page chargesheet in TCS BPO harassment case

Nashik Police on Friday have filed a detailed 1,500-page chargesheet in a sexual harassment case linked to the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) BPO unit in Nashik. The case involves multiple complaints and a total of nine FIRs have been registered against the accused so far. However, this is the first chargesheet filed in only one of the cases under investigation, reported IANS. The Supreme Court on Monday issued directions to all trial courts across the country for cataloguing witnesses, evidence and material objects to ensure systematic presentation of evidence and efficient appreciation of case records in a criminal trial. The SC bench laid down the format while acquitting a man of the serious allegation of brutal sexual assault of a four-year old.
