A man who allegedly posed as an IAS officer and reportedly claimed to have links with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was arrested in Bihar’s Khagaria district, with police recovering a Tesla car, an SUV, more than 31 litres of imported liquor and other luxury items from his residence. Madhya Pradesh’s PM (Prime Minister) Shri Air Ambulance Service launched in May 2024 has benefited 159 patients; 32 of them are either leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party or their friends or relatives. The men—four from Patan and one from Banaskantha—are also accused of trying to carry out test explosions on at least eight occasions. The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday questioned 66 people in Pune district after they were allegedly found to have been in contact with Pakistan-based gangster Shahzad Bhatti and his associates, reported the PTI. According to the ATS, the operation began at 7 am and was carried out with the assistance of Pune City Police, Pune Rural Police and Pimpri Chinchwad Police. The ATS said it suspects that Bhatti used social media platforms to attempt to radicalise Indian youths and encourage them to take part in anti-national activities.
