Infopark Kochi has four buildings of its own in Phase-1, with its companies already enjoying parking facilities. Infopark Square, near Infopark’s southern gate, which is entirely dedicated to paid parking, has space for 140 cars. However, only 40% of the space is used on average, a release issued by Infopark said. A free electric buggy service is also available from Infopark Square parking to the offices of the companies. The free service features two electric buggies that go from both entrances of Infopark and in front of all buildings. The first computerised draw of lots for admission of students under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) categories for entry-level classes in private schools was conducted on Wednesday for 42,000 seats, for which over 2.5 lakh applications had been received. This was the first time that the draw of lots, which was conducted in the presence of Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood, was held publicly. Multiple screens were installed at the venue so parents could see the process in real time. At the event, two children initiated the draw. Bhavesh pressed the draw button for KG and Class 1, while Bhavika initiated the draw for Nursery. The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) will announce the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) category school admissions for the 2025-26 on Wednesday. The list will be released after the first draw of lots of admissions under the category for academic session 2025-26. Delhi’s Education Minister, Ashish Sood, confirmed that the first computerised draw of lots for EWS admissions will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Education Department at the Old Secretariat.
