Police identified the deceased as Aish Vishwanath Amin, who was found hanging at his residence in the Tisgaon Naka area of Kalyan East on Sunday evening. A suicide note discovered at the scene indicated that Amin was experiencing severe mental distress and was worried he might have rabies following a dog bite a few days earlier. According to authorities, Amin lived with his elderly parents and brother in an apartment and had been employed at a cooperative bank for over eight years.
