Recently, your film Mirage, starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali, made its OTT debut on SonyLIV. How was it working with the actors, especially after the success of Kishkindha Kaandam? Ans: It was definitely a very good experience for me. I have worked with both of them individually before, and it was a fulfilling experience because they are directors’ actors. Be it Asif or Aparna, they are both extremely talented, and when you work with people of their calibre, your workload automatically decreases. Especially during the climax fight, their dedication was remarkable. I wanted that entire sequence to look brutal and raw. Both of them gave their best, and I’m really glad I got the opportunity to work with them together for the first time. 2. Upon its theatrical …

The video evidence, released by the Indian Army on social media platform X, showcased wreckage from what was identified as a Pakistani Mirage aircraft—originally developed by French defence manufacturer Dassault Aviation. The clip, titled “Destroy the Enemy in the Sky”, runs for 1 minute and 26 seconds and features the wreckage at around the 1-minute mark, accompanied by the caption: “The Pakistani Mirage… Shattered.” This visual confirmation followed a joint briefing by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force on Operation Sindoor, the codename for India’s military operations carried out during the recent four-day conflict. Image Source : AP Mirage 2000 (Representative Image) Ukrainian forces targeted an airfield with long-range drones in southern Russia, Ukraine’s General Staff claimed on Thursday. The airfield is reportedly used to launch Iran-designed Shahid drones. The development comes as France says it delivered the first batch of Mirage fighter jets to Ukraine. The attack, which came during the night on the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield in Russia’s Krasnodar region, is reported to have started a fire, the General Staff wrote on Facebook. While the Russian Defence Ministry reported downing Ukrainian drones over Krasnodar, it did not explicitly mention the region or the airfield. Notably, Ukraine has developed its long-range drones aimed at growing its domestic arms industry and becoming less dependent on Western help to fight its almost three-year war with Russia. At times, the drones have successfully reached deep into Russia, hitting oil refineries, weapons stores, and airfields. Tech Tonic | An elusive social media mirage, and an equally unbothered Elon Musk

The past few days, felt akin to an unpleasant recall. Unpleasant, because of the futility and a resounding failure of the mission humanity set out to complete after Elon Musk took over Twitter (now it’s called X, keep up) a couple of years earlier. Basically, BlueSky has claimed that since the US election results were announced, millions of users have signed up for the platform. That, they first said, took that social media platform’s footprint to about 15 million users. The number, then claimed to be 20 million, a few days ago.. Cue headlines such as “users are fleeing Elon Musk’s X…” and that “X is haemorrhaging users…”. I’ve seen that before. Elon Musk, chief executive officer of SpaceX and Tesla and owner of X. (Reuters Photo) It didn’t dent Twitter any more than Elon Musk cared then. It wouldn’t dent X any more than Elon Musk could care now. The reality is, X is still far ahead, if you’re to look at the bigger picture beyond just the numbers. Last year, Twitter had around …

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Will Not Get DLC, but Protagonist Basim’s Story Can Be Explored Further, Says Director

Assassin’s Creed Mirage launched in October last year, offering a pared back, back-to-the basics experience reminiscent of older games in the series. The action-adventure title from Ubisoft took players to 9th-century Baghdad, putting them in the shoes of Basim Ibn Ishaq, a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones and rises through the ranks to become a master assassin. While there’s no word on if the franchise will revisit the character again, Assassin’s Creed Mirage creative director has said that the team has ideas about where Basim’s story could go. In a Reddit AMA Wednesday, the game’s creative director Stéphane Boudon said that Basim’s story could be explored further, but not in the form of an expansion to AC Mirage. “We’re thrill [sic] by the reception of Mirage! Mirage as [sic] been design [sic] as a standalone experience without any DLC plan. However, we have ideas on how we could extend the story of Basim, surely,” Boudon said. He, however, reiterated that that Mirage would not be getting a post-launch story expansion. “But as of …
