Union govt plans to turn Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium into sports city
The showpiece Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the Capital, built for the 1982 Asian Games, will give way to a modern Sports City if the Union Sports Ministry’s plans to redevelop the existing infrastructure and make it a multipurpose state-of-the-art facility come to fruition.
