Actor Mithun Chakraborty broke his silence on criticism revolving around The Kashmir Files. For the first time, he addressed the people calling his film, ‘vulgar’ and a ‘propaganda’ movie previously. This remark comes after the film made it to the list of 301 eligible films for the Oscars. The Kashmir Files is directed by Vivek Agnihotri. At the 53rd International Film Festival of India in Goa, jury Nadav Lapid called the film ‘vulgar’ and a ‘propaganda’ film, which sparked a controversy.
