Even as Varanasi is all set for Dev Deepawali celebrations on Wednesday evening, the festival is moving across the city’s ghats to neighbouring villages and districts — giving a boost to rural tourism along the way. In Madhopur, officials said the Shooltankeshwar Mahadev Temple Ghat will host a heritage storytelling session on the “Legend of Shooltankeshwar Mahadev,” while locally made diyas will be lit up along the riverbank.
