Bengaluru party: 86 people including Telugu actress test positive for narcotics

The blood samples collected from those who attended the rave party at a farmhouse recently have revealed that 86 people, including a Telugu film actress, tested positive for narcotics, police sources said on Thursday. According to sources, a total of 103 people had participated in the party, which was organised under the pretext of a birthday party. The participants included 73 men and 30 women. Police seized MDMA (Ecstacy) pills, MDMA crystals, hydro cannabis, cocaine, high end cars, DJ equipment, including sound and lighting worth Rs 1.5 crore during the raid at the farmhouse near Electronic City in the wee hours of May 19. After the raid, police collected the blood samples of the participants in a private hospital, which revealed that 59 men and 27 women tested positive for narcotics. “Most of the people who attended the party were consuming drugs. BSF recovers China-made drone with narcotics in from Punjab

Press release issued by the Border Security Force (BSF) revealed that it recovered a drone carrying a packet of suspected heroin from the border area of Ferozepur district on Monday. The drone that has been recovered is identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic. The official release mentions that the vigilant BSF troops while carrying out a routine search operation on April 29, 2024, at about 8.00 am, observed a small drone along with a packet in a farming field in the border area of district Ferozepur. “The troops immediately seized the drone and the packet of suspected narcotics packet, which was wrapped in white packing material and black adhesive tape (gross weight- 510 gms). An illuminating ball was also found attached to the packet,” it said. As per the release, the recovery took place in a farming field adjacent to Village Gandu Kilcha in Ferozepur District. ICG seizes narcotics worth Rs 600 crore from Pakistani boat; 14 held

The Indian Coast Guard carried out an intelligence-based anti-narcotics operation and seized narcotics worth Rs 600 crore from a Pakistani boat named `Al-Raza` and apprehended 14 crew members who belonged to Balochistan, the ANI reported on Sunday. The narcotics weighed around 86 kg and amounted to around Rs 600 crore. Ahmedabad DGP Gujarat Vikas Sahay said that the consignment was not for India but Sri Lanka and all 14 crew members were residents of Balochistan, Pakistan. NIA arrests key accused in Rs 700 crore narcotics haul case at Punjab`s Attari

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Harwinder Singh alias Soshi Pannu, the key accused in the Rs 700 crore worth narcotics haul case, at Punjab`s Attari in 2022, an official statement issued on Tuesday said. The accused, a resident of Naushehra Pannuan in Punjab`s Tarn Taran, used to distribute drugs, handle cash and launder drug proceeds through banking as well as hawala channels, as per the NIA investigations. The NIA has made another major breakthrough in the Attari drug seizure case with the arrest of the key accused found to be actively involved in drug dealing and quality testing besides handling the proceeds of narcotics smuggling, the probe agency said in the statement. With this, the total number of arrests in the case has gone up to six, it added. The case relates to a major conspiracy hatched by the international drug cartel to circulate drugs in India through various distributors and channelise the proceeds to foreign-based masterminds.
