Maharashtra Police bust Nashik Kumbh Mela fake work order scam, two held in Rs 305-crore fraud
Police in Maharashtra’s Nashik have reportedly busted an alleged Rs 305-crore scam involving fake work orders for upcoming Kumbh Mela works, with two people arrested and several others allegedly on the run, police said on Wednesday, reported the PTI. The accused allegedly targeted people by promising them contracts for Kumbh Mela-related work and showing them forged documents.
