Fresh spells of light rain brought some relief to Delhi and parts of the National Capital Region on Sunday morning. News18 The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Wednesday asked the state governments in the National Capital Region (NCR), including the Government of NCT of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, to postpone outdoor school sports events scheduled for November and December due to deteriorating air quality in the region. In a press statement issued today, the CAQM said the advisory followed observations made by the Supreme Court regarding the health risks posed to children due to spike in pollution levels.
