The former India spinner Neetu David has been appointed as head of scouting for UP Warriorz ahead of the Women’s Premier League 2027 season. The 48-year old former Railways player will take over from Rajib Dutta and will be part of the support staff led by head coach Abhishek Nayar, who took over as the head coach of the franchise last season. Neetu David has featured in 10 tests and 97 ODIs in her international career spanning over 13 years. She has picked 182 wickets and holds the record for the best bowling figures in an innings in women’s test, having claimed 8/53 against West Indies in the 1995 Jamshedpur Test. However, despite the star-studded lineup, the film has seen a lacklustre response at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie earned only Rs 60 lakh in net collections, with a gross of Rs 72 lakh, falling short of even the Rs 1 crore mark. Daadi Ki Shaadi was screened across 1,789 shows on its opening day and recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of just 12.99%. Morning shows began with a modest 4.23% occupancy, rising to 12.69% in the afternoon, peaking at 16.31% before dropping again to 13.77% in the night shows.
