Sarvam Maya Movie Review & Rating: There’s something incredibly heartwarming about seeing Nivin Pauly in very ordinary circumstances and surroundings. While most of his peers need the backing of a brilliant script and an equally brilliant director to ensure their seamless placement in such backdrops, Nivin can slip into that zone even in random, average flicks at the drop of a hat, making one feel like he has been living in those worlds for years. Days after a rape case was filed against Malayalam star Nivin Pauly based on a woman’s complaint that he sexually abused her in a Dubai hotel last year after promising her a role in a film, the actor voiced suspicions that the complaint is part of a larger conspiracy. He also suggested that people within the Malayalam film industry might be responsible for orchestrating it. Nivin made these allegations in a complaint to Crime Branch ADGP H Venkatesh IPS, who oversees the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up by the Kerala government to investigate sexual harassment allegations involving several industry insiders.
