India has diversified its LPG imports to include cargoes from the United States, Norway, Canada, Algeria and Russia, the minister said.  India’s crude supply position is secure and volumes already secured exceed what the disrupted Strait of Hormuz would have delivered, Oil Minister Hardeep Puri told Parliament, as the country entered its 13th day of navigating the disruption to global energy flows amid West Asia conflict. “India’s crude supply position is secure and volumes secured exceed what the Hormuz would have delivered,” Puri said in the Lok Sabha, adding that non-Hormuz crude sourcing had risen to 70% of total imports. Refineries are operating at high-capacity utilisation and the availability of petrol and diesel is “fully secure,” he said.
