However, the left-arm seamer’s antics have not gone down too well with a bunch of former cricketers, including Dale Steyn, Ambati Rayudu and Mitchell McClenaghan. Akash had enough reasons to rejoice on Friday night as he single-handedly dismantled the Chennai Super Kings top order, comprising Sanju Samson, skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and Urvil Patel in succession. Each time he took a wicket, Akash pulled out a little note and held it up. Over the next few months, as the Candidates tournament in Cyprus gets closer, the eight contenders will be playing around the world to spruce up their preparation. But not Hikaru Nakamura. The American has only one tournament circled on his calendar for next year — the Speed Chess Championship. He recently became a father and his YouTube channel also takes up a lot of his time. Currently in India for the Global Chess League, Nakamura talks with The Indian Express about these aspects and a lot more. Excerpts: Q: What will your next few months until the Candidates look like? Are you going to do a lot less streaming? Hikaru Nakamura: I will probably dedicate most of my time to that (the Candidates bid). Google is experimentally replacing news headlines with AI clickbait nonsense

Google is experimentally replacing news headlines with AI clickbait nonsense

Did you know that BG3 players exploit children? Are you aware that Qi2 slows older Pixels? If we wrote those misleading headlines, readers would rip us a new one — but Google is experimentally beginning to replace the original headlines on stories it serves with AI nonsense like that. Come on. I read a lot of my bedtime news via Google Discover, aka “swipe right on your Samsung Galaxy or Google Pixel homescreen until you see a news feed appear,” and that’s where these new AI headlines are beginning to show up. They’re not all bad. For example, “Origami model wins prize” and “Hyundai, Kia gain share” seem fine, even if not remotely as interesting as the original headlines. But in the seeming attempt to boil down every story to four words or less, Google’s new headline experiment is …
