India took a key step forward in boosting its private space ecosystem on Tuesday, after the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) signed a formal agreement with Bengaluru-based space start-up Pixxel to build India’s first privately-led national Earth Observation satellite. This is also one of the largest public-private partnerships in the Indian space sector.
