(Image: AP/File) India and Israel on Tuesday reaffirmed their shared commitment to zero tolerance for terrorism at the 10th meeting of the India-Israel Joint Working Group (JWG) on Counter Terrorism held in New Delhi. Both sides strongly condemned the April 22, 2025 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the October 7, 2023 attacks in Israel. The meeting was led by Dr Vinod Bahade, Joint Secretary (Counter Terrorism) in the Ministry of External Affairs, and Nadav Eschar, Head of Bureau, Strategic Affairs Division in Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the MEA, the two countries “unequivocally and strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, including cross-border terrorism” and stressed the urgent need to hold perpetrators accountable.
