Now, the Bill has been taken up for discussion in the Rajya Sabha today. In the Lok Sabha, 288 votes were cast in favour, while 232 went against the Bill after the debate was held in the lower house, where several political parties – from the treasury as well as the Opposition benches – presented their arguments.
