After the Union Budget 2025 was unveiled on Saturday by the Finance Ministry, industry leaders and developers in Pune welcomed it as a ‘progressive and growth-oriented plan’. They highlighted its emphasis on infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing, and innovation as key drivers for India’s long-term economic vision, ‘Viksit Bharat 2047.’ Shashank Paranjape, Managing Director, Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. called the budget visionary, aspirational and efficient for urban living. He said that the Urban Challenge Fund in the budget is a transformative step for real estate. “By driving ‘Cities as Growth Hubs,’ ‘Creative Redevelopment of Cities,’ and improved ‘Water and Sanitation’ infrastructure, this initiative will boost development, attract investments, and create sustainable urban spaces,” he said.
