After making family oriented content for decades, Sooraj Barjatya calls Dhurandhar ‘a perfect film’ | Bollywood News

He’s made a career out of that genre, right from his 1989 directorial debut Maine Pyar Kiya, starring Salman Khan and Bhagyashree, to his upcoming release, Yeh Prem Mol Liya, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari Wagh. In fact, he reveals that he makes a phone call to any filmmaker who comes up with a family-oriented subject in the otherwise violent cinema landscape of today. “All subjects should get made but this type of content is very important,” says Barjatya on SCREEN Spotlight, adding, “So that we can tell the younger generation to trust, hope, and support each other otherwise we’re all getting divided. India and Russia are working to improve the system of mutual settlements in the face of Western sanctions while Russian banks have adapted to sanctions and Indian credit institutions have learned to minimise the risk of secondary sanctions, Russian ambassador Denis Alipov has said. After the Union Budget 2025 was unveiled on Saturday by the Finance Ministry, industry leaders and developers in Pune welcomed it as a ‘progressive and growth-oriented plan’. They highlighted its emphasis on infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing, and innovation as key drivers for India’s long-term economic vision, ‘Viksit Bharat 2047.’ Shashank Paranjape, Managing Director, Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. called the budget visionary, aspirational and efficient for urban living.
