The nominations for the 2026 Oscars are finally out. Director Ryan Coogler found himself at the top of the mountain as Sinners dominated the nominations. Critically acclaimed feature films and documentary films found themselves rightly acknowledged in the nominations, but a few lost out. The one that broke the hearts of Hindi film fans all over the world was Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound, which failed to make the cut in the Best International Film category.
