Mammootty and Khalid Rahman, the director of Thallumaala, previously worked together on the film Unda (2019). After seven years, the duo has announced their reunion with a gangster action film titled Mattancherry Mafia. Mammootty to next star in Mattancherry Mafia Taking to social media, the makers of Mattancherry Mafia announced the film with a new title poster. Alongside Mammootty, the movie will feature Premalu fame Naslen and Kishkindha Kaandam’s Asif Ali as co-leads. Sharing the update, the team wrote, “The start of something really special. Presenting the title poster of Mattancherry Mafia. Directed by Khalid Rahman. Padayaatra, marking the reunion of actor Mammootty and director Adoor Gopalakrishnan after 32 years, is moving one more step in the right direction. The film has officially completed its filming schedule as of early March. Shared by the star’s label, Mammootty Kampany, a photo was revealed announcing the completion of the shoot. To prevent such plastic waste from joining the water bodies, Hasiru Tapasvi, a voluntary organisation in Belthangady undertook a massive cleanliness campaign with its volunteers as well as students from Vivekananda College, Mundaje, located at the foot of Charmadi Ghat, on Thursday, March 14.
