Police have arrested the accused and recovered the weapon allegedly used in the assault, along with bloodstained clothes, officials said Monday. According to Gopalganj Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinay Tiwari, the incident took place on June 21 at Belsand Tiwari Tola village under Madhopur police station limits, where Vijaynath Tiwari was seriously injured in an alleged axe attack.
