Domestic veteran Paras Dogra on Saturday became the second-highest run-scorer in Ranji Trophy history during J&aK’s third-round match against Services at the Sher E Kashmir Cricket Stadium, Srinagar Dogra, who began his Ranji Trophy career with Himachal Pradesh in 2001, reached the feat when he crossed 16 runs during J&K’s first-innings. He leapfrogged Devendra Bundela (9201) and Amol Muzumdar (9202) to become the second-highest run-getter in the tournament, only behind former India opener Wasim Jaffer (12,038). J&K rolled Services over for 71 in the first session before No. 4 Dogra braved a batting collapse to reach the milestone. Dogra represented Himachal in 95 Ranji matches, racking up over 6418 runs with 19 hundreds and 24 fifties before moving to Puducherry in 2018.
