Patreon is adding tweet-like features and more recommended content

Patreon is introducing a suite of new features, and some of them are reminiscent of traditional social media platforms. First, content creators will be able to collaborate on posts so that both groups of fans see them, similar to features on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Patreon will also add to its existing recommendation system that users see and push creators when there is audience overlap between content creators. Fans will have the option to view content only from creators they follow, Patreon says. The company is opening up a waitlist on Monday for …

Patreon Year End Awards: learjet’s Year In Dramas 2023!

Hey everyone! Like what we did for the past couple of years, we’re having guest posts from the lovely folks on Patreon, to help us take stock of our drama years, yay! 🥳 We’ll be seeing about 2 guest posts per week, and this will unfold into January 2023, and that’s perfectly ok. My annual year-in-review, which usually comes out in December, will also come out in January (or thereabouts 😅), after all the guest posts have been published. If you missed our earlier posts, you can check them out as follows: Ele, Natalia, JJ, Sean, j3ffc, Uyen, MC, Elaine, lotusgirl, ABV. Today, I’m pleased to announce that learjet is sharing her drama year. learjet’s been a part of our little Patreon community for a while now, but we don’t see her around super often, so this feels like a great chance to catch up with her and see how her drama year went, in 2023. Of course, whenever she does show up, she’s a pleasure to have around – here’s hoping that you get …

ABV’s pretty new to our little Patreon community, but he’s been settling in super well, and we’ve all been having such a great time getting to know him. What I love about ABV, is how he approaches dramas with a lot of thought, and a lot of heart, at the same time. For someone who says that he’s late to the drama …

You know that Korean phrase 열심히 살아 (yeolsimhi sal-a), which literally means to live hardworking-ly? Well, I feel that that’s what Elaine does, because she’s got so much going on, in the multiple roles that she plays, in her life. With work, family, kids, friends, a dog, and everything else in-between, Elaine’s got a lot going on, and I’m so grateful that she continues …
