Under an MoU with Global Workforce Development, which is an initiative of Apollo Hospitals, GWD proposed a collaboration to empower Telangana’s nursing and healthcare talent. Under the partnership, GWD will support candidates through specialised skill enhancement, structured language training and globally aligned certification programmes. The aim is to facilitate overseas employment opportunities across Germany, Japan, the UK, Australia and other countries where skilled healthcare professionals are in high demand, the Labour Employment Training and Factories department said in a release. The second MoU involves a proposal from Nexwave GmbH, Germany, offering 350 Warehouse Associate positions for English-speaking candidates with basic educational qualifications such as ITI, diploma or degree. Imphal: The Kuki-Zo Council (KZC) in a statement said it has received positively the government’s imposition of President’s Rule in the violence-hit state, and the move will help pave the way for political settlements and peaceful coexistence. “We are hopeful it (President’s Rule) would pave the way for due political settlements and peaceful coexistence (of Meitei and Kuki-Zo-Hmar tribals) as good neighbours,” KZC secretary (information) Khaikhohauh Gangte said. The State government plans to cut 33,776 trees in all for the project, the panel added. Earlier this year, the NGT had taken suo motu cognisance of a newspaper report that the Uttar Pradesh government was planning to cut 1,12,722 trees for the project across the three districts for the proposed route between Muradnagar in Ghaziabad and Purkaji in Muzaffarnagar. The court in August had formed the joint panel to look into the issue.
