Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a three-day tour of Gujarat from January 10 to January 12, 2026. During the visit, he is scheduled to take part in a range of religious, cultural, infrastructure-related and diplomatic programmes across the state. The visit will begin on January 10 with the Prime Minister offering prayers at the Somnath Temple. Later in the evening, around 8 PM, he will join the Omkar Mantra chanting at the temple. The programme will conclude with a drone show at the Somnath temple complex. On January 11, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join the Shaurya Yatra at around 9:45 AM. The ceremonial procession is organised to pay tribute to the warriors who laid down their lives while protecting the Somnath Temple. PM Modi began his day by offering prayers at Lord Sri Krishna temple at Beyt Dwarka. He later inaugurated the four-lane cable-stayed bridge called the ‘Sudarshan Setu’, which boasts a unique design, featuring a footpath adorned with verses from Srimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna on both sides.
