Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the 80th Independence Day on Saturday with a traditional red tie-and-dye turban as he delivered his 13th consecutive Independence Day address from the historic Red Fort in New Delhi. PM Modi paired his white kurta with a chocolate brown vest and the traditional turban, which is commonly associated with the cultural traditions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. He also wore three pocket squares in saffron, green and white, adding the colours of the national flag to his attire.
