The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. on platform number five. According to railway officials, passengers were waiting on the platform when a large section of the shed collapsed and partially fell towards the railway track, triggering panic among commuters. Four labourers and two security guards were killed after a section of an under-construction bridge over the Betwa river collapsed during a storm in Hamirpur district early Friday, officials said. Police, district officials and an SDRF team reached the site overnight and carried out rescue operations till early morning. (Sourced) The incident occurred near Morakandar Parsari village under Lalpura police station limits, where a 700.9-metre bridge has been under construction at a cost of ₹92.52 crore for the past two years. According to officials, a pier, pillar number five, gave way along with its shuttering during strong winds and rain, bringing down nearly 110 metres of slab between pillars four, five and six. Seven workers were on the bridge carrying out wiring work when the structure collapsed around 3 am. The historic Kapoor Haveli in Peshawar, which belonged to the late Raj Kapoor, has suffered serious damage after recent heavy rains followed by a strong earthquake on Friday night. During his appearance on The Today Show, the Frozen actor opened up about the timing of his memoir release on January 14 and the devastation caused by the wildfires.  "I wish it was a celebratory day," Gad said. "It's been super tough. I just got in from Los Angeles. It is worse than I think is even imaginable," he added.
