The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled for March 5 and 6 in several Middle Eastern countries due to the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, reported the PTI. According to CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, the decision applies to examinations in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The board had taken the step in view of the prevailing situation in parts of the region after the US-Israel attack on Iran, officials said. The revised dates for the postponed examinations will be announced later. Officials added that the situation will be reviewed again on 5 March to determine whether further exams need to be rescheduled, according to the PTI. JEE Mains 2026 session 1 result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the JEE Main session 1. Initially scheduled for February 12, the scorecards will be released four days later, on February 16. Students will be able to access their results at the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in — once they are declared. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was conducted in computer-based mode between January 21 and January 29.
