Tim Seifert, Breetzke Knocks Powers Seattle Orcas 5-Wicket Victory Against Freedom
A brilliant knock from Tim Seifert and Matthew Breetzke has set up Seattle Orcas’ 5-wicket victory against Washington Freedom at Dallas. After a four-wicket haul from Ottneil Baartman, Seifert (78) and Breetzke (66) runs have secured a first win in the tournament and jumped to the third position in the MLC 2026 points table. After being invited to bat first, Washington Freedom’s Mitchell Owen and Steven Smith opened the innings while Cameron Gannon opened the bowling attack. Owen made an explosive start, smashing a 19-ball fifty. The duo made a solid start, scoring 82 runs in the power play. Dasun Shanaka bagged the first breakthrough, dismissing Mitchell Owen for 61 runs. Mark Chapman, who came to bat at No.3, joined Steven Smith at the crease.
