Sanjeev Kumar predicted his early death; Sachin found him ‘face down on the carpet’ | Bollywood News

Actor Sachin Pilgaonkar once opened up about his close friendship with legendary actor Sanjeev Kumar and the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding what was meant to be their final meeting. Although Sachin was much younger than Sanjeev Kumar, the two shared a deep bond and often confided in each other. In an old interview, Sachin recalled how Sanjeev had asked him to visit early the next morning, but work commitments delayed his visit. By the time he reached the actor’s home that afternoon, Sanjeev Kumar had already died. ‘He asked me to come early’ Speaking to Bollywood Aaj Aur Kal, Sachin said he had met Sanjeev Kumar a day earlier while the latter was dubbing. “I had gone to meet him at his house. In fact, I had met him the previous day while he was dubbing. I told him I wanted to see him the next day. He said, ‘Come in the morning.’ I told him I’d come around 2 or 2:30 pm instead. He asked, ‘Can’t you come a little earlier?’ I said I had …

IND vs ZIM Predicted Playing XI, 2nd T20I: Will Prabhsimran Singh make his India debut?

3 min readJul 26, 2026 10:51 AM IST Shreyas Iyer finally broke the jinx and sealed his first series win as T20I captain after India rolled over Zimbabwe by 90 runs in the second game at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday. A dominant display against the hosts saw the Men in Blue finish a few notches above their counterparts. With the series already in the bag and a considerably vulnerable opponent, India could look to shuffle their XI for the third and final T20I, which is scheduled to be played in less than 24 hours after 2nd match on Sunday. The growing list of injuries, however, remains a concern. A new name was added to that list after pacer Prince Yadav was forced to leave the field during the second game due to a hamstring pull. In his absence, Ashok Sharma – who made his India debut on this tour in the first game – could return to the XI to form a pace trio with Mayank Yadav and Yash Thakur. Thakur had replaced …

Predicted XI for India vs Zimbabwe Match Today in Harare

Predicted XI for India vs Zimbabwe Match Today in Harare

2 min readJul 25, 2026 10:38 AM IST With an opportunity to seal the three-match T20I series, India will take on Zimbabwe in the second game at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday, after starting their campaign with a convincing seven-wicket win in the first T20I. Shreyas Iyer’s men will be confident of another dominant display after a one-sided victory on Thursday. On a challenging surface for batters, Indian pacers dominated the proceedings to restrict the hosts to a below-par total. Making his international comeback after more than two years, Mayank Yadav was impressive. His fiery hard-length deliveries proved unplayable for the Zimbabwe batters, as he combined with Prince Yadav to reduce the hosts to 32 for 4 and later 64 for 5. Tadiwanashe Marumani and Wessly Madhevere then played handy knocks to push the total to a respectable score. India chased down the target in just 13.2 overs, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashing a record-breaking 18-ball half-century to give India a 1-0 lead in the series. Sooryavanshi effectively killed the chase within the first few …

IND vs ZIM 1st T20 Playing 11: Sooryavanshi in; India’s predicted XI today | Cricket News

3 min readJul 23, 2026 10:29 AM IST After a bruising tour of England where they were swept 4-0 in a five-match T20 series, Shreyas Iyer’s Indian team starts its tour of Zimbabwe with plenty of intrigue over Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The teenager was given three games to play against England where he managed scores of 15, 13 and 14 before he was dropped in favour of Sanju Samson. With Samson not being named in the side for the Zimbabwe tour, Sooryavanshi will be back in the XI, at the top of the batting. The Zimbabwe tour could be where he makes a strong case for himself after a tour of England where he became the youngest player to represent India in the second T20I in Manchester, but could only manage scores of 15, 13 and 14. At the Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe, Sooryavanshi finds himself in familiar terrain: it was here he smashed 175 from just 80 balls in the final of the Under-19 World Cup as a 14-year-old against England. Hammering 15 sixes …
