Sindarov’s biggest rival will help him prepare to face India’s Gukesh

5 min readChennaiUpdated: Jul 16, 2026 05:54 PM IST Javokhir Sindarov recoiled at the question, simple enough as it was. Since he had won the FIDE World Cup and then the Candidates to secure a shot at the world champion’s crown, was he now Uzbekistan’s numero uno? “No, come on!” he said almost as if he had been embarrassed by the question itself. “If you ask me even 10 years from now, I will not say so because (Nodirbek) Abdusattorov is super strong. But I never want to say something like this: that I am better than him.” Sindarov was at the Norway Chess tournament at the time, answering questions from Indian journalists about his remarkable rise to becoming a world championship contender. But in the giddy recollection of his own rise, he wanted to make sure that his contemporary’s achievements were not minimised. “For young players in Uzbekistan, Nodirbek was like a superhero,” Sindarov had said. “If you are the best chess player in the country and no one can beat you, then it’s …

Xi Jinping’s forces prepare drone tsunami for US in Pacific showdown? | Trump, China

Published on May 27, 2026 07:40 am IST China is rapidly expanding its AI-driven drone warfare network with systems like Atlas Swarm-2 and the Jiu Tian drone mothership, raising concerns about the future of warfare in the Pacific. Reports say the PLA’s “intelligentized warfare” strategy relies on autonomous swarms capable of sharing targeting data and coordinating attacks at machine speed. The Jiu Tian UAV can reportedly deploy up to 150 sub-drones, while reconnaissance platforms like the WZ-8 and WZ-7 are designed to track U.S. carrier groups and support anti-ship missile strikes. Analysts warn massive drone swarms could overwhelm U.S. naval defenses and reshape the balance of power across the Taiwan Strait and Pacific region.   Home / Videos / Xi Jinping’s forces prepare drone tsunami for US in Pacific showdown? | Trump, China Disclaimer: We do not own any of the content, ideas, images, or text presented here. What did the Cloudflare memo say? “The way we work at Cloudflare has fundamentally changed,” the company executives said in their memo. “We don’t just build and sell AI tools and platforms. We are our own most demanding customer”. Noting that departments like engineering, HR, finance, and marketing now run “thousands of AI agent sessions each day,” the company said it had to be “intentional in how we architect our company for the agentic AI …
