The Haryana Steelers won their maiden Pro Kabaddi League title on Sunday after they defeated Patna Pirates in the final. The Steelers won with a score line of 32-23 with Shivam Patare scoring 9 points, Mohammadreza Shadloui bagging 7 and Vinay adding 6 more to the cause. The champions were awarded Rs 3 crore while the Pirates, who are the runners-up, were awarded Rs 1.8 crore. In the match, the Steelers picked up the first few points and the lead in the early exchanges with Patare and Shadloui dictating terms for the eventual champions. The 11th season of the Pro Kabaddi League is entering its final stages with six teams out of twelve teams making it to the playoff stage of the league. Dabang Delhi sealed their place in the PKL 11 playoffs in emphatic fashion as they beat Bengal Warriorz 47-25 at the Badminton Hall in Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on Monday.
