File. | Photo Credit: ANI West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday (June 23, 2026) came down heavily on the Trinamool Congress accusing the party of indulging in massive corruption and said that his government will bring in a law to auction properties of those involved in corruption in the ongoing session of State Assembly. “Many people are thinking that they will remain in prison for two months and after that they will get bail. They should remember, this time we will confiscate and auction their property. We will bring a Bill on the last day of assembly to auction properties of those involved in corruption,” the Chief Minister said. Taking a dig at Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, who has a residence on Harish Chatterjee Street, “I will make arrangements to accommodate the people living under the flyover in Kolkata in the palaces of Harish Chatterjee Street”.
