Senthilbalaji in an alleged cash-for-jobs scam, even as the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) had reportedly written again to the State government in this regard, BJP spokesperson Narayanan Thirupathy said on Tuesday (May 19, 2026). “The ball is in Mr. Vijay’s court today. This is the first test for Mr. Vijay. We can say this is the first exam for Mr. Vijay,” Mr. Thirupathy told reporters at Chennai. The ED has sent its communication to the State government directly and the State government should give its sanction, the BJP spokesperson said. Mr. Thirupathy recalled Mr. Vijay’s statement that he would oppose corruption. “What can be a better opportunity? Today, the gate is clear, all are open. The ball is in Mr. Vijay’s court.
